"Preach the Word"
Preach the word, be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 2 Timothy 4: 2
It was important for Timothy to preach the gospel so that the Christian faith could spread throughout the world. WE believe in Jesus today because people like Timothy were faithful to their mission. It is still vitally important for believers to spread the gospel today.
It may be inconvenient to take a stand for Jesus or to tell others about his love, but preaching the word of God is the most important responsibility the Church and its members have been given. Be prepared, courageous and sensitive to God-given opportunities to tell the good news.
Let us keep moving FORWARD BY FAITH. Forgetting and forgiving, looking forward to what lies ahead in Christ. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”. Trust in Jesus and follow him for Jesus is the Word!

WELCOMING YOU HOME
We are in our 34th year as a denomination, and just like our beginning, we are facing the unknown of what tomorrow will hold. So, we must Continue the Faith! Jude 1:3 says "And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not witherl and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper". And 2 Timothy 2:2 speaks of the perpetuation and states " And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. To Continue the Faith means we will never compromise on the Word of God and the faith we receive. We will recognize the changes in the society around us and work to deliver the message of our faith so that it will be received and preserved. To Continue the Faith, we must become like the men of Issachar and understand the time in which we live, and seek God to know what to do.

Bishop LT Buchanan and Pastor Karen Buchanan have pastored The Greater Word Ministries Holiness Church Inc. since 1989. Since then, they have faithfully taught the true, Biblical doctrine of the gospel, ministered and prayed for those in need, and provided counseling and good, sound advice for the communities throughout Atlanta Georgia and the members of The Greater Word Ministries Holiness Church Inc.
